YAD x Natalia Wallenberg

It’s about time to get to know the members of the ExCo of Ahold Delhaize a little bit more! Therefore, we are organizing a series of YAD x ExCo sessions, in which we interview – if possible live – one of the ExCo members of Ahold Delhaize. We kick off with Natalia Wallenberg, who serves as Chief Human Resources Officer at Ahold Delhaize since January 2022. Natalia leads the development and execution of the Ahold Delhaize’s people strategy including associate engagement, leadership, culture, DE&I and talent development. She brings experience across several industries – agriculture, financial services and real estate – and has lived and worked in various countries including the United States, Switzerland, Russia, Belarus, UAE and now, the Netherlands. Before joining Ahold Delhaize, Natalia worked at global agricultural technology leader Syngenta Group for nearly nine years, serving as their Global Head Human Resources for several business units and R&D. Prior to Syngenta Group, she held a number of HR leadership roles at the investment bank Renaissance Capital and IKEA. Also, Natalia is a Board Member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Amsterdam. 

An impressive career! We are curious about how her first months at Ahold Delhaize have been and her view on DE&I, talent development, mental health & well-being. And of course, we would like to hear her advice for pursuing your career, her favorite AH-/Etos- and/or Gall&Gall-product and whether she can build an IKEA closet together with her partner – without arguing. Time:                  The session starts at 16:00 and will end at 17:00. Afterwards there will be some drinks and snacks at the Brouwers-café (at the office)!
